Federal grant applications, prepared start to finish.

Federal applications are long, technical, and unforgiving about format and eligibility. We handle the research, writing, budget, and assembly so your team can stay focused on the work the grant is meant to fund.

How it works

The process

Clear steps, clear responsibilities. We tell you what we need and when.

Federal submissions usually require registrations that can take weeks to set up or renew. Check yours early — we can tell you what the opportunity requires.
The $6,000 fee covers one application to one federal opportunity.
Northlight prepares and supports funding applications, but funding decisions are made by the awarding organization. No grant award or funding amount is guaranteed.
  1. Opportunity review

We read the full funding notice — eligibility, priorities, scoring criteria, match requirements, and deadlines — and confirm whether it is a realistic fit.

  2. Strategy

We agree on the project scope, the strongest framing against the scoring criteria, and a document checklist with owners and dates.

  3. Drafting

We write the narrative, project description, and budget narrative, and build the budget with you.

  4. Review

You review drafts and supply corrections, approvals, and any signatures or letters only your organization can provide.

  5. Assembly and submission

We assemble the package to the agency’s requirements and coordinate submission with your authorized representative before the deadline.
